There are numerous
websites and forums available that already provide information
about dive locations. However, we believe the reviews
offer little value to divers.
Many are 'paid for' reviews which contain the biased
marketing literature the location wants divers to read.
Others are simply accounts of a diver's holiday experience
which tell us very little as they are influenced by
personal preferences and are greatly affected by a diver's
experience.
The very essence of divemart's rating guidelines is
to provide comparable information that is as true and
accurate as possible, and is not influenced by a diver's
experience.
Researchers print out our rating guidelines which contain
questions and criteria which must be met to qualify
for each rating. By using these guidelines to review
a location discrepancies in diver's opinions and preferences
can almost be eliminated.
They can either submit their results online, or post
us the completed review.
